Legal Basis for “Swiss Made”
According to the Swissness Law, cosmetic products may only be labeled as “Swiss Made” if they meet the following criteria:
- At least 60% of the production costs must be incurred in Switzerland.
- The essential manufacturing step must take place in Switzerland.
- For natural products, key raw materials must originate from Switzerland.
